ExitCare, L.L.C.- Dr. Steven Hersch joins the Editorial Review Team at ExitCare

ExitCare, L.L.C. provides an enterprise-wide patient education content solution for hospitals and medical providers. In order to support an enterprise-wide solution, the company segmented its library of over 2,300 patient education titles into three important areas: In-Patient, Emergency Department, and Ambulatory Care. “Each area has a designated Editor-in-Chief who will be responsible for the clinical integrity of the information,” said Dr. Rick Redalen, CEO and CMO of ExitCare, LLC. “I am excited to announce that Seven Hersch have joined our ExitCare Editorial Team.”

Steven Hersch, M.D., FACP, is the Editor-in-Chief, In-Patient. He is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician and has been practicing as a Hospitalist since September 2002. Prior to that, he practiced both inpatient and outpatient medicine in a primary care setting for 13 years. He attended University of Southern California for both undergraduate and medical school. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA.

“Steven Hersch and I will be working with a number of ExitCare reviewers representing specialists, Primary Care Physicians, and Allied Healthcare Professionals,” said Dr. Redalen. “Our editorial staff consists of two Medical Literacy Editors, Ms. Jenny Harrington and Ms. Marnie Gamble-Henderson, whose responsibilities include reading level, content review cycle, content format, and compliance with our Editorial Guidelines. Our Document Specialist, Ms. Robyn Carley, who manages our Document Management System, will work closely with our Editors-in- Chief and reviewers. I am very excited about our new editorial team.
