ExitCareIP™ (In-Patient) Product Overview

The ExitCare Patient Education System features 2,110 documents covering most medical specialties including Medical/Surgical, Cardiology, Ambulatory Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Dietary, Radiology, etc. Some documents are formatted to provide concise information at discharge, others are general informational documents. Where Joint Commission has specified Core Measures requirements for patient education, ExitCare documents will keep you in compliance.

• Recent Patients List – This feature allows you to build a document set (and medication list) over time so you do not need to re-enter patient information and can see which topics have already been taught.
• Patient Comprehension Questions – Through a partnership with the Organization of Patient Educators, 420 topics have a simple true/false test for you to document patient comprehension.
• Medication Reconciliation – A complete Medication Management System is at your fingertips to reconcile medications in compliance with Joint Commission.
• Patient Friendly Documents – The liberal use of graphics, bullets, subheadings and color all combine to encourage the patient to actually read their instructions!
• Archive – Permanent archive of all printed instructions provides proof of exactly what was given out to the patient for any future needs.
